“미얀마 민주화의 지원군이 되어주세요”
2021년 2월 1일 미얀마의 민 아웅 흘라잉 총사령관이 ‘부정선거 무효화, 총선 재실시’를 명분으로 국가비상사태를 선언하며 역대 세 번째 군부 쿠데타가 시작되었습니다. 미얀마 시민들이 자발적으로 무장하여 시민 불복종 운동을 이어나가던 6월 중순, 미얀마 갤러리에서 민주화 쟁취를 위해 구체적인 도움을 요청하는 소식이 조심스럽게 들려왔습니다. 미얀마 현지 갤러리 소속 작가들이 투쟁기금 마련에 도움을 줄 수 있냐는 내용이었습니다.
대안공간 아트포럼리와 오픈스페이스 배에서는, 민주주의를 향한 자유와 인권을 부르짖는 미얀마 시민들의 외침을 예술적 연대로 응답하고자 이번 《무명 연대-분출하는 상처》 전시를 마련했습니다. 최전선에 서있는 시민들이 겪고 있는 격렬한 고통을 직면하고 대결한 흔적이 고스란히 담겨있습니다. 상처와 고통으로 뒤덮힌 미얀마 사회와 시민들에게 지지를 보내며 동참하고자 합니다.
전시장에 오시면 미얀마 작가의 작품 원본을 프린트 한 형태의 작품을 만나볼 수 있습니다. 지원 방법은 ①계좌이체로 직접 입금하는 방법 ②작품 사본 구매를 통한 지원이 있습니다. 지원금은 아시아인권 문화연대를 통해 미얀마에 직접 전달될 예정이며, 작품 구매와 관련된 문의는 아래 문의처로 주시기 바랍니다.
9월 6일부터 오픈스페이스 배 <안녕예술가>에서 <무명연대 – 분출하는 상처> 전시를 통해 후원 진행되니 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

Alternative art space ‘Artforum Rhee’ and ‘Openspace Bae’ we organized an exhibition <Wounds Erupt> respond in artistic solidarity to cries for human rights and freedom of Myanmar. In these art works presented by Myanmars artists you can see the sighs of facing Myanmar citizens intense physically and internally pain to fight for democratic movement. They need support for help society out from covered wounds and pain.
If you come to the exhibition, you can see the original prints of Myanmar artist’s works. You can support as donation directly to bank account or purchasing a copy of a works. The funding and price of purchase printed copy will be directly delivered to Myanmar through the ‘Asian human rights culture solidarity’.
